Product Highlight: Live Previews

Inbox Monster announces today a new way to test interactive content and animation in email: Live Previews.

Testing the support for interactive elements has long been a challenge that holds email makers back. It’s impractical to send test emails to all types of devices and inboxes–so this feature will streamline that process greatly, giving instant feedback on support and fallbacks. So we can all make more excellent email. Huzzah!

These video clips showcase all interactions and movement in the inbox. For the first time, email marketers and creatives can test gifs, countdown timers, AMP for Email modules and interactivity, like carousels, accordion menus and hover effects, with just one click. In the new Live Previews section of our Creative Projects tool, the system will automatically detect these and test them for you within the video preview.

Live previews will be available on the following devices, giving a clear way to various functionality and fallbacks quickly and accurately:

    • iPhone 15 – Apple Mail – Light Mode
    • iPhone 15 – Apple Mail – Dark Mode
    • iPhone 16 – Apple Mail – Light Mode
