Inbox Monster owns and operates a large list of seeds to provide Inbox Placement insights into ISPs from all over the world.
If your program targets specific regions and/or audience types, adjusting the ISP Management settings will allow you to tailor your inbox placement results to more accurately reflect your audience.
DMARC, which stands for Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance, is a DNS TXT Record that, when implemented for a domain, controls how failed message authentications are handled by recipient servers.
There are three DMARC policies that each behave differently when spoofing attempts are detected for the corresponding domain.
- "none" policy: This policy is used for monitoring only and instructs email receivers to send DMARC reports to the specified email addresses without taking any action on emails that fail DMARC checks.
- "quarantine" policy: This policy is used for stricter enforcement and instructs email receivers to place emails that fail DMARC checks in the spam or junk folder. However, the emails will still be delivered to the recipient.
- "reject" policy: This policy is used for the strictest enforcement and instructs email receivers to reject emails that fail DMARC checks, meaning the emails will not be delivered to the recipient.
DMARC information and a default none policy is available within Settings.

We continuously adding integrations with the best email marketing sending platforms in the business. Our current integrations include Twilio SendGrid, Amazon SES, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sparkpost, Braze, Iterable and others.
There are two methods for integrating Inbox Monster with your Salesforce Marketing Cloud instance.
The first method makes use of the AppExchange app, and offers the ability to access the full Inbox Monster platform via SSO from within your Marketing Cloud instance.
The primary benefits of the AppExchange integration include:
- Automatic creation and updating of Inbox Monster Seedlist Data Extension within Contact Builder.
- Automatic Seedlist Injection to perform Inbox Placement testing alongside all Email Studio deployments to greater than 25,000 subscribers. (This threshold is adjustable).
- Full Access to the Inbox Monster Deliverability Platform from within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Optional: SSO Support within Salesforce Marketing CloudDynamic email content is automatically rendered for Partner Seeds without the need to manually create attributes for seeds.
- Seeds aren’t susceptible to Hard and Soft Bounce processing and unsubscribe actions.
- Seeds don’t count toward super message utilization.
- Seed open and click activities aren’t included in tracking reports.
The other method utilizes Salesforce's Partner Seed List API functionality, and does not provide SSO from within Marketing Cloud.
If you use SendGrid as your email service provider, you can send placement tests directly from the Inbox Monster interface.
If you're a fan of automation, use our scheduling tools to set your placement test schedule via this integration as well.
To integrate Amazon SES with Inbox Monster, you'll need to have the ability to create custom AWS Access Keys for the Amazon SES API.
Within the Amazon AWS dashboard, navigate to Security Credentials via the username drop down menu.
The Inbox Monster / Braze integration allows for convenient creation of scheduled inbox placement testing for all senders making use of the Braze email service provider.
A simple process will allow for API Key creation from within Braze, input of API details within your Inbox Monster platform, and scheduling your ongoing placement testings directly from within your Inbox Monster instance.

Inbox placement tests predict whether your email campaigns will reach the inbox, get bulked, or worse, go missing altogether. Inbox Monster offers manual and automated options for generating placement tests.
Pre-Campaign Test: Log into your ESP, select the domain and content you'd like to test, and send an email to Inbox Monster's seed list only. This email will generate an inbox placement test and the predictive analysis will be available for review in your Inbox Monster account. Creating a pre-campaign placement test generates predictive insights you can use to improve the performance of your next campaign.
In-line Campaign Test: You can also create an inbox placement test by adding Inbox Monster's seedlist to your next production campaign. While pre-campaign and in-line tests provide the same insights, you won't be able to use placement test analysis to improve campaign performance as both the in-line test and production campaign will have been sent at the same time.
A campaign report highlights various aspects of deliverability by campaign. Inbox Monster creates an Inbox Placement Report for every campaign that is sent to our seedlist from your sending domain(s). Each of these reports provides Inbox Placement across a global range of ISPs, as well as tons of other deliverability data.
The Inbox Monster Platform is designed to help identify and track any email signals that are preventing your emails from reaching your subscribers' inbox. Combining the wealth of data with customizable notifications and intelligent navigation tools, it's never been easier to identify the steps needed to improve deliverability.
Within the platform, our inbox placement tools allow email marketers to test the deliverability performance of their emails in one platform. Your team would send to a list of seed email addresses that our team owns and it will generate a report of where they landed within specific mailbox providers. Along with the Subscriber Insight feature, this will grant your team a more weighted and personalized result according to your subscriber list. Our email testing software now gives you the ability to view the performance before deploying your campaign to live email subscribers.

The Inbox Monster platform showcases if your domain or IP address is assoicated with any spamtraps within our spamtrap network. We monitor the following spamtraps: Pristine (poor list hygeine), recycled (inactive addresses), SNDS (inactive Microsoft addresses), and Typo (misspelled domain name). Once your domain and IP address has been added to our platform, our system scans both and detects if there are any spam traps that your program is sending to.
Within the Inbox Monster platform, there are three options available in the Blocklist section of the navigation panel: Overview, Domains, and IPs.
The Overview option provides a Blocklisting dashboard, starting with 4 tiles that showcase the amount of active listings on your monitored domains, IPs, and specific callouts for Spamhaus listings at both the domain and IP level.
When selecting the Domain option, you'll be presented with blocklistings by domain specifically. This includes the domains themselves as well as any IPs that have been bound to the domain.
A similar breakdown is available when navigating to the Blocklists by IP view.

The Inbox Monster SMS testing tool allows your team to view the deliverability of your text message marketing. We currently have United States and Canada carriers to see if the cell device has received or rejected the message. Along with the deliverability performance, we show if there are any spam words, proper unsubscribe mechanism exists, and how your link reputation stands through Spamhaus. From the platform, you can preview how your text message looks like from the IOS & Android lock screen, list view and message view.
Test your SMS journey automation and see if the replies are functioning properly. You can then adjust your replies. The SMS Journey feature will assist your team by:
- Confirm that your SMS automation is working as intended based on the user's reply.
- Make sure that the automation has no typos or misconfiguration from different carriers.
- Allow adjustment in your current automation flow.
If you are here to monitor your SMS campaign, you've made it to the right place.
With our tool, you can ensure that each of the campaigns sent to the SMS seed list will properly generate and see how it has landed with different mobile carriers.
