Email Authentication Tool

Get DMARC on lock down

Email authentication standards—known as SPF, DKIM and DMARC—are essential to protect your brand from bad actors and keep your messages out of spam. Inbox Monster shows whether your email is authenticated at Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and Apple Mail, flags what's misconfigured and helps you troubleshoot issues.

Why email teams choose Inbox Monster for authentication

Know your mail is authenticated before you send, and turn authentication from an IT headache into an advantage.

No more guessing whether your setup is right

Inbox Monster confirms your authentication is passing at Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and Apple Mail, so you find a gap in testing, not in your open rates.

Catch a break before it routes you to spam

A misconfigured DKIM record can send months of mail to the spam folder. Inbox Monster surfaces the failure so you fix it fast.

How it works in your workflow

Test across 90+ mail systems

Verified at the providers that decide placement

SPF, DKIM and DMARC tell Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and Apple Mail that your mail is really from you. Inbox Monster confirms your email authentication is passing at those providers, so a broken record or an alignment gap shows up before it drags down placement, not after your engagement falls off.

Authentication results panel listing SPF pass, DKIM signature failure, a DMARC alignment warning and a valid BIMI logo, checked across four providers.
DMARC journey tracker at stage two of three, moving from p=none to p=quarantine to p=reject, with 30 days of reporting showing 97% legitimate mail, 2% threats and 1% spoof attempts.
Weight it by your real audience

Business-critical for every email program

SPF and DKIM are like locks, but DMARC is the security system. Without DMARC, fraudsters can spoof your domain and email your customers pretending to be you. Our email deliverability experts guide the move to DMARC enforcement safely, so your domain is protected and your legitimate mail still lands.

One view, all signals

The brand payoff for getting DMARC right

Once DMARC is at enforcement, BIMI displays your verified logo next to your email in the inbox, a trust signal your subscribers see before they open. Inbox Monster helps guide your team through email authentication and BIMI implementation, so you can enhance your email security and strengthen your brand's identity.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers from our email deliverability experts.

What is email authentication?

Email authentication is the set of standards — SPF, DKIM and DMARC — that protect your brand, your sender reputation and your revenue from spoofing attacks. Mailbox providers use email authentication to validate that your mail is really coming from your domain, and mail that fails is far more likely to land in the spam folder or be blocked.

What is the difference between SPF, DKIM and DMARC?

SPF lists the servers allowed to send on behalf of your domain. DKIM adds a signature that proves the message was not altered. DMARC ties the two together, telling providers what to do when a message fails and reporting on abuse. You need all three working in alignment.

What is DMARC, and do I need it?

DMARC tells mailbox providers how to handle mail that fails authentication: monitor it, quarantine it or reject it. Google and Yahoo now require DMARC for bulk senders, so yes, if you send at volume, you need it set past "p=none" to actually stop spoofing.

Does email authentication affect inbox placement?

Yes. Failing SPF, DKIM or DMARC is one of the fastest ways to trip the spam filters. Inbox Monster confirms your authentication is passing at the major providers, so you catch a problem before it costs you placement.

Can Inbox Monster help me fix a DMARC or authentication problem?

Yes. Our email deliverability experts review your SPF, DKIM and DMARC setup, flag what is misconfigured and guide you from monitoring to enforcement safely, so your domain is protected without blocking legitimate mail.

What is BIMI?

BIMI displays your verified brand logo next to your email in supporting inboxes. It requires DMARC at enforcement first, which is one more reason to get authentication right. The Inbox Monster team can advise you through BIMI implementation and offer resources to get started.

Is authentication a one-time setup?

No. Records drift, servers change and new sending streams get added, any of which can potentially break authentication. Ongoing monitoring is what keeps a fix from coming undone.

What is an email authentication tool?

An email authentication tool confirms that the standards proving your mail is really from you—SPF, DKIM and DMARC—are configured correctly and passing at the mailbox providers, and helps you fix what is not. Get them right, and providers trust your mail; get them wrong, and you land in spam or get spoofed in your name. Inbox Monster shows you where you stand and gives you the expert help to get there.
