Move over, Abby, and step aside, Prudence. There’s a new advice columnist on the loose, and its name is Monstie.

For years, the Inbox Monster team has been offering our expertise on all things email. We’ve answered FAQs on topics like holiday deliverability and gone deep on everything from inbox placement to Dark Mode.

But just like every email is unique, so are every email marketer’s problems. There are many great forums where folks can get answers to their most pressing questions, but they’re not exactly anonymous. Sometimes, you don’t want your boss to read your inside thoughts.

That’s where Monstie comes in. “Ask Monstie” is Inbox Monster’s newest advice column, where you can access expert email assistance—without blowing your cover.

Trying to prevent unethical sending practices or navigate a tricky situation with your email-clueless leadership team? Monstie is here to help.

The “Ask Monstie” submission form is now open. Common subjects that Monstie can advise on include:

  • Email deliverability and inbox placement
  • Creative rendering and email testing
  • Email and SMS marketing
  • Email QA workflows and team dynamics
  • Managing up to the C-suite and out to your peers
  • And more!

The form also enables you to attach images or files if you’d like advice on a specific email or need help interpreting deliverability data. All questions are accepted anonymously and without judgment, and email addresses are only collected if you’d like to subscribe to Inbox Monster’s marketing newsletter.

In the spirit of full transparency, here’s what you can expect when you submit a question to Monstie:

  • Answers will be hand-selected for the Inbox Monster blog on a semi-regular, recurring basis. This column is for those nagging, big-picture questions that you know other marketers are wrestling with as well.
  • On the alignment chart, consider us “lawful good.” Monstie is a law-abiding citizen dedicated to the betterment of the email industry, so questions on how to circumvent ISP rules or engage in spammy behavior will not be tolerated.
  • We are monsters, not miracle workers. Monstie’s busy lurking under children’s beds—sorry, solving the world’s inbox placement challenges. All advice is offered purely for fun and for free, but we hope everybody can find words of wisdom that resonate.

So spill that tea. By sending your questions to our inboxes, we can help your emails land in inboxes everywhere. Let’s make Monstie the Miss Manners for email teams.

We can’t wait to hear from you! Submit your question to “Ask Monstie” today.
